we have a nice carport that has a good level slab.
I LOVE tools and have been at various times a bicycle mechanic, carpenter, machinist, and have worked in a sheetmetal shop.
The carport is actually about as nice as a garage, as we have decent weather here, and it's always uncluttered. I have a nice workroom/toolroom adjacent to the carport.
At various times I have considered closing it in, but probably won't for various reasons.
