Hi I need help on a Baldor Bench Grinder 623

I'm hoping to get a answer I Pick up a old 623 Baldor bench grinder 1/3hp 110V. I plug it in and it turn does not seem to have enought power. I can almost stop it with my finger. The bearing seems to be ok. I'm just wondering if the capacitor is bad. I look at it and was going to replace it but most of the information on it been wipe off. Can anyone tell me if this could be the problem or what Capacitor I would need. Looks to be a nice grinder

It sounds like the windings are burned out to me but I'm no expert.

If it is the capacitor, you should be able to get it up to speed by giving it a good start with your hand.

How big of a wheel are you trying to spin. 1/3rd Hp is pretty weak as is.
