Hello, Long time lurker - now New Member!

So.. the kids just took the wife away for the weekend. She said to stay home and not touch anything while she was gone... but I went out, just to look - and now this old toolbox wants to follow me home.

Can any of you experts give me an idea of it's model or age? It's a MAC, upper & lower box with slides, not rollers. Only thing I can find on it is 'Made in Canada'

Very interesting boxes. Would you post a picture of them taken directly infront? Looks like some of the small drawers have twin pulls just to match style / lines of the larger drawer pull locations.

Go for it!
It looks good, appears to be in great shape.
You can always later apologize to the wife about lack of self control and sadly add that all the sales were final...

Yes they do. And the drawer pull design is different to others I've seen - must be a Canadian thing?

Hmm - self control. We've started building a new 'Garage' (her words) 'Workshop' (mine) & she suggested I come up with a 'Budget' for tools & equipment ..

After picking myself off the floor I explained there are things you can't fix a monetary value on - Happiness, Health, that look your dog gives you.. and, with machinery and Art, value - quality, provenance, beauty of form, rarity & collectibility - is in the eye of the beholder and can't always be measured in dollars..

She wandered off muttering about the cost of putting the kids through school, so I've dodged that bullet.. for now
