I registered almost 3 years ago but this is my 1st post. I've been inspired and motivated by many of you on this site. The Restored 1930's Auto Shop is the thread that most inspired me to limit the time spent on TV and internet!!!!!!

I built a 40x60x14 pole barn in 1991. It's been a slow process of getting it to this point. I poured concrete in 2000. Things started to progress a bit faster since finding this site. You'll all have to wait as I want to round up all my pics starting with the beginning of the build in 1991 (I've lived here since 1987).

I'm into most older Chevys and Sunoco items, before it became NASCAR's fuel
of choice. I own a 1967 Chevy Malibu (AZ, driver) and a 1965 Chevy TX truck that needs a little TLC.

Thanks for the INSPIRATION guys, Ron

Welcome fellow michigander, I am on the west side of the state. Lots of great stuff here, I certainly spend plenty of time just browsing all the good info and knowledge that is shared here. Looking forward to another garage build thread so feel free to share yours soon.

Welcome to GJ, Ron. So, the vacuum of GJ has kept you from TV and other internet sites? Glad we could do yo a service!

A 40x60 shop! Wow. I look forward to the pix. We love the 'before' and 'during' shots. I've never seen an 'after' shot since the shop will always evolve as we find cool new ideas. Don't worry about the time to build yours, The Great Wall of China took a little time to build as well. Get your pix in order and start a thread under 'Garage Gallery'.
