Just lookin over the web to try and find dating info for snap-on tools. With all the info on your site i think i found what i was looking for. i found a 3/4 dr. craftsman socket set, 1"-2", minus 2 sockets. it also had a 15" extention and a armstrong universal. along with this set was a L-72-S snap-on ratchet head and a L-72-H 20" handle. i bought it all today at a yard sale for 50$. With the info on this site i was able to determine that both the ratchet head and the handle were made in 1962. I thought this was a great find. i didn't realize what a find it was until i found out that these two snap-on items would cost me about 250$ if i bought them off a truck today! i'm no mechanic, just a piddler and a tinkerer, but i have always enjoyed using tools. today was like christmas for me! yall have a great day!
