I'm Jeff, and I live over on the desert side of central Texas. I sideline making cabinets and furniture out of my rickety home shop and spend quite a bit of time over on OWWM.org. Being stubbornly independent is a genetic disorder in my family, but it doesn't seem to harm us much. I learned early about making it, making do, or doing without.

Here's the oldest tool I have - Greenlee 226 hollow chisel mortiser made about 1915. Originally line-shaft operated, a previous owner converted it to electric power.
