Hello All.. My names Lee and I'm a Tool-a-hollic..
I live in a little village in the Snowdonia national park called Llanberis, North Wales , UK.
My hobbies include keeping my Landrover Discovery on the road, fixing my sons Euro box Arosa, messing with the electrickery on the wifes renault and generally tinkering in the garage.. (followed by drinking Red Wine)
I built my garage behind my house 15 years ago when re-designing my home and as we live on a steep hill the roof became the back garden.. Since then real life has gotten in the way and the garage has become just a space to do stuff when needed, but as my kids have grown up and I have more time to spend in it I have decided to give it an overhaul... went trawling for some ideas and found this place.. this is gonna be fun..
The space is quite big for a UK garage at 24' by 16' ish but the ceiling height is only 6' 6" and as I'm 6' 3" it's a little tight. plan is to make the best of the space through ingenious storage solutions (read as stolen ideas from people with more brains) built with skill and style (thats my bit) I have a million Great British Pounds worth of machines at work to play with so the finish should be good.. (I didn't buy them)
At the moment the place is a mess but once the metal has been weighed in for scrap and a few tip trips have been done I can start sorting it out.. But I need the scrap money first to re fiberglass the roof.
I look forward to stealing your ideas and hopefully sharing a few of my own.
