Important to note these are only 10,000 lumen. Many are significantly more. Still an excellent deal to light an area. I wanted to get the 12 limit but there were only 5 in stock at my store.

Does anyone have any input on how many of those would you be comfortable running on a single switch?

I picked up 6 of them today to use as general purpose lighting in the 30X48 building I have with 14' ceilings that should be done in the next couple of months.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but they’re probably 75 watts….6 would only pull 4 amps so you’re fine.

What height of ceiling do you have? I went with a much cheaper (pre sale price) Menards option and I have 12' ceilings.

I have 12' ceilings in a 27 x 36 space. I noticed that these are 22" wide. Any idea how many I would need to adequately light this space?

Nevermind, I found a calculator, and decided that I would go with a different product

I saw those and got mad because I only have 8' ceilings in the garage.

*Edit*

Wait, I see they are dimmable...

Went and bought the 4 my store had and put them up last night. They are bright but not too blaring on my low ceilings. Just order 5 more from a store across town and will do 3 rows of 3. With 9 total they will need to be on a dimmer or separate circuits, I'll do a dimmer for more versatility. They do have separate low voltage wires for dimmer control so keep that in mind when buying.

Not sure if these are actually being clearanced out or just on sale. The 4 I got were actually Patriot Lighting and not the Smart Electrician as advertised, not sure what that means, maybe they are re-branding or something. I look at the quantities at other stores and they seem to be clearing out. The 5 I ordered from the other store were of the 11 they had, the only ones left in my 3 local stores.

Separate low voltage wires? I assume you would need to run something like SPC90 to these fixtures?

At the price those are going for, I would assume they're being clearanced, most of the newer LED stuff doesn't require the separate circuit for dimming.

BTW: Thanks for the heads up, I was thinking about getting a few of these, but went in another direction.

They are 80 watts a fixture and I assume that's why they do the 0-10V low voltage controlled dimmers. Basically your typical LED dimmer is only rated to 150W total. For a small setup like mine I'm running 9x 80 watts for a total of 720W and imagine a larger shop running twice that one a circuit. If someone wants the dimmer Menards does stock them. https://www.menards.com/main/electr....htm?tid=-4273261775524735906&ipos=1&exp=true

I put them all up today and they are bright, but not so bright a dimmer will be required. The LED strips are spaced well and the diffuser does a good job. The 4000K also helps. This summer I plan to move my rafter ties up 20" to almost 10' and this will only reenforce my no dimmer thoughts. I might group them into circuits just for little projects at night with the door up.

I'm very pleased at this price.

*edit*
I take that back, it needs and will get the dimmer.
