High CFM compressor for space constrained garage

Hey all. I'm looking for a decently high CFM compressor to use in my somewhat space constrained garage. I'm planning on restoring two vehicles and I'll needs something that can soda/sand blast, paint and chisel, etc. I don't mind waiting a bit for the tank to reload, these are small cars and just don't have room for a 60 or 80 gal beast.

I have been looking at a couple models relatively available:

Puma 40 gal 2-stage

Maxair portable

Maxair wheelbarrow

Campbell Hausfeld VT6271

There are a couple custom builds I could get from Castair that are similar in spec to the Puma.

Any quick thoughts on any of these options? It is possible I could setup a portable offload tank when I need more volume (store in the rafters when not in use?).

Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions.

Are your space challenges vertical? Because that Puma you link is basically the same dimensions as an 80-gallon, only the tank is half the height.

Well, yes and no. If I gave up that vertical space then I could put a deep shelf above/below the compressor. My house is severely storage challenged and with two young boys and all their toys, plus two cars so on... any space saved is space earned.

But, it is true, I might have to step down to a 25-30 gallon portable type and try to get it under a bench? I'm just not sure about that maxair brand and I've heard pretty good things about puma. I could also try to get a horizontal tank specced from my local Castair brand. Wondering if that CH @10.2 CFM would be enough....

Most 60gal vertical units take up the same or less floor space than even small pancake compressors. You could build a little pedestal for the compressor to raise it off the ground and use the floor space below. Obviously bolting/strapping properly would be in order.
