I have been a lurker for quite some time and spend a ton of time on the site its great and I have used search...
My issue is I have Bronco's that I need to get under lifts that are 86'' high and I can are down the tires to save some room.
Bendpak HD7PXN will go the height and the with would be OK but it has cables stiffeners on the sides that would make it not as usable as I would like.
The Bendpak HD9XW and from the post I have read they lock at 79.25'' which is a full 5.75'' short with no allowance for any extra clearance.
In the winter its not a issue as I could put the EB's on the top.
We do have 14' ceilings less lights and High Lift doors.
Great site and have incorporated a ton of great ideas into the garage but would like to get it finished with 2 lifts offsetting the posts as all I could used for door width was a 16' not a 18' which is another issue.

And people like to argue that spelling and grammar don't matter. I couldn't make it halfway through that.

Here, I'll translate for you.

Bronco is 86" high but could be lowered slightly by deflating tires. The BendPak extra tall lift has cable stiffeners (and I'm not entirely sure what those are) which pose some kind of problem. The other BendPak locks in at 79" so the Bronco wouldn't fit underneath.

I'm also a big fan of grammar, punctuation and general structure but sometimes people are typing on phones or perhaps even English isn't a first language. You'd hate to see my typing in any other language

So, back to OP's issue. What's the problem with cable stiffners? I don't even know what they are and I've been reading through the BendPal literature for a few days now trying to decide on a lift. You're also getting your models mixed up, both the XN and the XW go up the same level. The 7P and 7W top out at the 79".

If you are looking at the summary table for 4 post lifts, I think the width they state is incorrect. It can't be 116" and is more likely 110". I've contacted them about it and will follow up on Monday.
