For the life of me I do not understand why you would not go with the compressor the laser seller is suggesting?
I run my import laser, and the compressor paired with it daily. Not a sigle issue. Who are you buying the machine from? If you work with someone that supports the laser and compressor, you will be money ahead. The guy I bought mine from carries spares and consumables. Well worth whatever that has cost in the year it's been up and running. Also, you need more than just the pressure. You need all five stages of filtration and a refrigerated dryer. The air has to be super clean and dry. The import compressors are known to be quite reliable.
