For the life of me I do not understand why you would not go with the compressor the laser seller is suggesting?
I run my import laser, and the compressor paired with it daily. Not a sigle issue. Who are you buying the machine from? If you work with someone that supports the laser and compressor, you will be money ahead. The guy I bought mine from carries spares and consumables. Well worth whatever that has cost in the year it's been up and running. Also, you need more than just the pressure. You need all five stages of filtration and a refrigerated dryer. The air has to be super clean and dry. The import compressors are known to be quite reliable.

Hey @slodat glad you chimed in. After talking to you I think you had a very good point about going w the laser company supplied compressor. I am happy to hear youve had great performance with your setup. Always want to see more updates from you.

Im not buying from Steve.... unfortunately I dont have the power requirements at the shop currently (that screw compressor he sells is 20hp monster)

So that puts me into a tight spot and I just dont love the compressor they pair, I have no reason other then I think it looks whimpy and screw compressors just arent known for simple long term durability. Fingers crossed tho.

Ive come full circle, my power constraint has really limited me. At this point I want to get the combo and just get production going vs buying what I want to build up to.

Thanks everybody for your contributions. I now have a ton of info on buying a compressor from China direct. The pricing and specs are bonkers, and I would def be going that direction if I has the power to run it.
