High quality dehumidifier? Commercial? help finding

We live in nw Florida and the humidity is always very high. We run a dehumidifier in the house around 8 months a year.

Anyhow....just had a flood so I will be getting some insurance money. Tired of buying junk at the big box stores. I was hoping a fellow GJ friend may know a little about a better quality than the average home owners buy.
Maybe something you would see in a commercial building. A wall mount dehumidifier.
We do not have any heat ducts and do not want to put any in. (No basements here)

Any input would be great.

I've been doing a bit of research on this as well. Being a fire investigator I'm staying away from the portable garbage dehu's they sell in the big box stores as so many of them have recalls and I've seen first hand many fires started by faulty dehu's. Have to say most of them are made overseas.
Take a look at Desert Aire products. They build commercial dehu's but also have a smaller portable or wall mount unit for residential applications.
May also want to take a look at SantaFe, Dezair and April Aire as I believe all are made in US and are a step above the big box ****.

I've never seen a wall mounted dehumidifier.

April Aire makes a nice one, but it's meant to be duct, either into an existing HVAC system, or above ceiling in a single room.

Keep in mind that dehumidifiers will dump heat into a room.

I've used the Santa Fe Force model. Definitely a quality product. It performs as described by the manufacturer.

Thaks all for the info...I just couldn't find much.... (seems like things are much harder to find online than 10 years ago since all the bull out there....lol)

Boy.....fire....that's scary...some do get hot.

I'm hoping I can stay in under the $700-$800 budget.

I didn't say it was cheap, I said it was a quality product.

I don't know how large a unit the OP needs. The Force works up to about 2700ft2 if I remember correctly. Santa Fe makes other sized units; perhaps the OP needs a smaller unit. I haven't used the smaller ones, but if they are constructed similar to the Force model they are mostly likely high quality as well.
