High quality oil squirt cans

I am in the market for a QUALITY oil squirt can. Can anyone recommend something to me? I like the flexible hose models but have found a lot of junk in the stores.

I was just about to post about this. I really have grown found of these things ever since getting a HF one. The only problem with that one is it leaks CONSTANTLY.

Try a Harbor Freight one, I am VERY HAPPY with mine!!!. I never have any luck with oil cans. They always leak on me. Someone could give me one that they just used, hand it to me and it would leak on me in a minute. I have tried Blue Point, Tisco and my cousin even gave me some from his machine shop ( older American made) and they all always leak for me. I only buy the very best tools but figured I would try a Harbor Freight and it works great. I can even turn it over and it doesn't leak. Over the years I have wasted sooo much time cleaning up an oil can that leaked on me trying to oil something in a hard to get to spot.

I have a Goldenrod flex spout model that I purchased new a couple of years ago, and it leaked from the bottom rolled seam from day one.

I have 2 of the goldenrod oilers, the pint and the quart size. I bought them from Dutton-Lainson's website:

They are the manufacturer of these fine USA made oil cans, I haven't had any problems with them leaking.

I have used mine for the following specific purpose:
On my 1966 Lambretta motor scooter the control cables have ******* for oiling the cables. There is a spring loaded ball bearing which resides in the ****** when pressure is applied the oil flows past the ****** into the cable housing and through the cable length. I hooked up a plastic tube to the oiler tip and then onto the ****** and pumped the oiler. The oil eventually came out at the cable ends up at the handlebar brake levers, at the rear brake and clutch levers, etc. These are good pressure oilers in my opinion, since it had to pump the oil vertically upwards about 4 feet and through about 6 feet of cable housings.

I use oil like it will never die and it will last forever; with that being said I pick up any used oil cans when I see them and (the funny part) ; is they all leak like a flowing dam just burst open and cover my whole body

So if you can find one that does not leak you are in for a treat.
