Hello, I've been lurking here reading about epoxy for garage floors for a while and and actually placed an order through Lowe's for a 100% epoxy system from Epoxy-Coat. I live in Alaska and the order was cancelled due to shipping. Its pretty expensive for me to order legacy or epoxy-coat systems which is what I've initially decided on.
So locally I can get Devoe 235 which is about 70% solids and was thinking on using Devthane 379 as a clear coat or I can source ArmourSeal HS 1000 from S/W which is also about the same % wise and is also available locally. Is it worth the extra shipping $$ and hassle to get a 100% solids product Vs. a high solids solvent based product?
I'm trying to do a about an 800 Sq. Ft. residential garage. I would like it to look nice and last a long time.
thanks,
Jon
