Highest Jack?

I've read many threads about car jacks, but most have focused on quality.

I'm looking for a jack that lifts the car as high as possible--certainly a quality jack is important.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a very high lifting jack?

(Yes, I'd love to have a nice scissor lift, but that's not in the cards right now.)

but really what i would do is get a set (4) of tall jack stands (harbor freight 12 ton stands are a great size.)and get a 4x4 welded to a spare pad of a regular floor jack to swap out halfway through lifting. yes it;s slow.

The Ranger RFJ2TX lifts to 31.5".

Hi-Lift ratchet-type jacks will go up to 60"

I'd be concerned with stability if I was raising one corner of car that high in one step.

Remember to use jack stands too. Never trust a jack as they may slip. I have an American made Chraftsman 4 ton I've had for25+ years and it's still working. These days they all seem to come from China so I can't comment on quality.
