Just stumbled on this thread and had to google where the Cascades Mountains were :D but that is a simply stunning garage/barn.

Congratulations.

The wood stove goes here. That's the chimney poking through the ceiling.

The small room in the back is the bathroom.

Wow.. absolutely speachless. The size of this garage is unfathomable. Care to share the sqft of the lower level?

Had a TT roadster back in the day, miss it dearly, but not the anvil that was early 2000s VW hanging over my head. Current 3.6 Passat fills some of the need.

That is going to be nice when the heat is on! Looks great!

Jay

I'm feeling warmer just looking at the pictures. ( plus, I'm in Florida now. Going to upper '70's today. )

Thank you

Here are some pictures of the damage and repair of the spiral staircase railing.
This is the way it looked after unpacking. Sadly, the vendor would not replace, repair or even sell us a replacement at cost. I left the railing in the box for two months and eight days so it would not get damaged....8 days too many to file a claim. Maybe I'll edit this later and name the vendor/offender.

At least all of the damage is on the underside of the railing. We found a guy that repaired the damage for 1/6 the cost of a new railing.
