Hilti Nuron batteries and tools

Anybody know anything about the Hilti Nuron batteries and tools other than the recent YouTube posting about them. They look like they could be a game changer but I’ve heard and seen that moniker before , soooo - —. ? Tia jimdon

We've been using them at my work for about 8 months and see much improvement in run time and working in a cold environment (freezers) over the last generation. The impact wrench design is also superior to the past generation which was garbage.

P.S. Also like their radio which we received a few as a promotion. Sounds great.

I've got no experience with the cordless stuff but sure have a great selection everything coring from them. I've always been a hilti fan boy, but sometimes the price can be hard to swallow.

No idea about the actual use, but I went to a Hilti dealer just to take a look at the range, they looked good and felt nice. Although I did note everything was made in China.

The Chinese Hilti tool factory was a joint venture set up with Hilti and Panasonic.
Hilti still manufactures some of their more expensive power tools in Europe, or at keast they used to.
Back when Hilti tools were being sold in Home Depot, the tools where mostly made in Europe, but supposedly Hilti had issues making money on the tools, despite basically charging Festool level prices for the tools.

So you made me look. All the coring equipment is on a project right now except for my vacuum pump. And everything on it is tagged Germany

The angle grinders used to be made in Germany.
Supposedly one of the German power tool manufacturers were making the grinders for Hilti, but with a custom body and gear housing for Hilti.
Bosch was mentioned as a possibility, and I definitely saw way older Hilti tools that were rebranded from Metabo.
Sadly, most of the tools made in Liechtenstein were discontinued, or had their production moved to China.
