Hilti is considered the standard around the world, unfortunately they are not that popular in the US. Elsewhere when someone wants a power drill or impact they just say "got a Hilti" It's somewhat like saying got a Kleenex not a tissue. Or Got a Hoover not a Vacuum, you get the idea.

I'd say very good if not totally abused.

I've used a TE-5 as a smaller but very capable SDS drill for many years.

It might use the TE-Y = SDS Max shank vs. the TE-C = SDS or SDS-Plus shank. I think the division starts around the TE-25 and up but that info could be corrupted and is worth verifiying.
