I know they are not extremely collectible but like to hear if anyone has info on these? Alloy-Artifacts was only partially helpful, and nowhere on the web can I find an example of a milled/pressed socket like this. Pretty sure it's Hindsdale (logo?) but if anyone else can shed some light I'd love to hear - I have a 6pc set and I think they are from about the 20's?

I'm trying to determine some info on the strange shape - kind of a cross between milled and stamped. Also, "Pat Pend" would date them to some specific point. I just haven't seen anything this shape so trying to find out more . . .
