I'm building my new workbench and want to do a hidden storage compartment inside the 2x6 frame above my mini fridge on the last 2' of my 10' bench. Top needs to be set on the frame all the way against the wall so it doesn't look out of place from the rest of the bench. Top will be 1.5" thick would prefer not to have to drill any holes for a recessed hinge. Wandering if any of you know if any of these would work or a good place to get them.

Due to the size and weight of your 1.5 thick top, the door style hinges you show are not designed for your purpose. I'd keep it simple and use a piano hinge at the rear near the back wall and a secure magnetic latch at the front. (www.kjmagnets.com)
With some creative skills you can conceal the continuous hinge from being seen. I did this in a closet floor to hide my gun safe.

not sure if you are going to finish the front but I'd cut out that 2x in the front with a razor saw at an angle and make a hidden drawer. cutting just 2 feet of a top will be not so hidden.
