Searched the forums and shockingly found nothing on these.

Has anyone ever heard of HIOS screwdrivers? They appear to be japanese, corded screw drivers.

I was browsing some Proxxon and heard these mentioned, started looking into them.

Why would someone want a corded hex bit driver that uses not just a cord but also requires a power supply instead of just a cordless bit driver? Just trying to understand the pros and cons of this type of system compared with cordless.

Thanks

There for manufacturing. Likely made to be used 24 hours a day for a very long time. Usually have pretty precise torque control. I use IR and atlas copco

Not something I would find much use for at home though
