The boy bagged his first water pump. Had the heater out too, we gonna put a rodent screen in the vent too, had it all out.
Then they went back to a fave, building swords and sabers.

The older one has ambition. He tires yet of some things and some he can really focus on. He is like me, people think I am interested in mechanical and welding and all that **** but its a means to get something I want. Being proficient when I can helps. The younger one in the pic doesn't want to work. He is smart and got lots of ideas but the ambition isn't there yet. Maybe he will figure it out.
The eldest is a good MyGyver. He can come up with the simple when he needs to.

I had been considering another drill so I bought him a drill on somewhat impulse for Christmas and it was really the right thing. I got the other 2 some minor tools, 5$ type stuff as the first day they give it 2 months or 2 years of use. I might grab up some kind of bit set yet.
It had been so long since I used a cheap type drill that I was really impressed with the thing. Only downside is no battery gage but its got long life and lots of power. Its got 1/2 chuck.
I was going to work on welding but he doesn't have the exacting consistency it takes yet. Doesn't quite grasp the 3d element that painting, pressure wash or welding has. Square, level, compensating and very deliberate strokes it takes.

I got to demo stuff regular to avoid having it ******* and all over. They can get some stuff out in a hurry.

They managed a switched tail light or 2, had a fuse in it and the pallet jack is always a version of a truck/cart, skids, blocks and chairs.

Yes, 78, 300 6 banger. Plain Jane. My neighbor bought it new and I bought it for 300 in mid 90's maybe, put a new engine in, fixxed it up, put springs on it, got it all working and drove it a couple years. Been parked 20.
When Rodger sold it to me he looked around to make sure the wife was out of sight,,, said,, if it could talk I would have to shoot it.
