But for 120.00 out the door ill deal with it



I never once asked for a deal He just pull things out and dropped the prices

original asking prices 35.00 for ratchet 70.00 for sockets 100 for wrenches

That seems high, there is a shop near me sells SO sockets for 3$ and wrenches for 5$.
Most of the pawn shops wont buy or sell hand tools around here.

so ,do you want me to pick them up and take pics? If you want to but them, I will and ship them to you. They just dont sell around here. Craftsman sells for .25-.50 each socket and .50-1.00 per wrench.

I laugh at that TV show where pawning customers get about 2/3 of retail.

get them in the morning or monday. Snow makes people closed here for some reason. I will call him and see if he'll be open.

Oh, they will do it. But not if they have a lot of them. Take a Craftsman socket and the only Snap-on socket in the store to the counter and they'll likely charge the same for each. I got my SK ratchet for $5. And they knew what it was because he said "an SK ratchet is as good as it gets" when I paid for it.

I have been trying forever to get one pawn shop in my area to wheel & deal on an impact tool and that guy will not come down even 10 cents; heck if he sold the above tools you would have to sell your car in order to make payments- I kid you not.

I used to visit the local pawn shops every few months, when the memory from the last visit faded. Sockets for $1 each. But never any brand names or useful sizes, just 11/32" sockets dumped in from 40 piece sets that cost $3 new. Lots of heavily used HF tools priced at higher than new e.g. $10 for a heat gun that sells for 7.99 with coupon.

CP 3/8" butterfly
DOTCO 1/4" angle head die grinder

all with the foil stickies still on them, the 1/2" impact had initials....I polished them off

for a grand total of $45

I used to stop by a place in old town Torrance that had good deals once in a while. But other than that, I haven't seen many tools in pawn shops.
