I had purchased this compressor many years ago, (likely 10plus )
It was a new return under warranty , I bought it on clearance . had a burned armature . armature not replaceable , have to buy the entire assembly .
Not too long after I found a new motor assembly on Ebay, damaged in shipping . notice in the picture a corner broken off . I figured I would use the original housing and replace the armature. . again that was years ago . finally got around to working on it . Not an easy job to press the armature out of the housing, just the way it's put together pressing off the bearing & pulley is almost impossible . I decided to rework the new housing, drilled a hole in the bottom flange beside the original mount and bolt it to the mounting plate . transferred the original piston, cylinder, reed plates etc to the new housing. re assembled and it's like a new compressor . It's going to a friends brother to blow up bicycle tires, and generally *uck around with .
