Just stumbled on this forum the other day as I was researching tools, and it seems like a great wealth of knowledge! The small amount of reading I've done in the past couple days has helped me pick what tools to get.

A bit about myself- I'm an aircraft maintenance engineer, apprentice, just about to start and just ordering my first "real" set of tools. (All I've really had before was cheap Canadian Tire small sets). I went on a trip down to Washington last month and got a bunch of Craftsman stuff- tons of sockets, etc. A whole lot of my other stuff is coming from Snap-On, the student discounts make it much more affordable for me.

I'm actually from Kelowna- I'll be moving back next month for work.

Ah, I see that I'm retarded haha. I hadn't remembered that I'd posted asking what class you were doing haha.

Where did you do your schooling if you don't mind me asking? I was doing an aircraft engineering degree and it got shut down 6 months in, so I have an interest.

At BCIT, it was either going to be that or Okanagan College/Northern Lights
