I just bought this set:

I didn't have a pressing need to buy an SAE set of nutdrivers, but since so many other SAE fasteners have snuck into my previously pure eurofoofoo life in the past year and a half, I figured I should pick up a set at a fair price when I got the chance, then I'd find out later that I needed them.

Then I got an email a few weeks ago from Harry J. Epstein about these.

PROS:
Made in Murka
$19, yet still made in America by a reputable co.

CONS:
Not the sexiest of handles, but hey, you want the rubbery grips, that's going to cost you. This is the $19 set.
Satin finish (like I care.)
The two largest sizes are kinda long at 8 3/4", but I doubt that will ever be a problem.

Now for the odd part, the reason for my post:

Don't be deterred by the headline that reads "solid." They still have some hollow shaft. Why, I'd say they have all the hollow shaft you would probably ever run into a need for, at 1 1/8" deep.
And one of the set is hollow all the way up the shaft, too.

If you need more than 1 1/8" shaft, things just got weird, momma. Let me know and I'll send you that 9mm 1/2" dr. 6 point deep chrome socket that JH Williams put in my set earlier this year, because you might be needing that, too.

I also have a set of these (and the matching metrics). Got them from Zeitlin Industrial Supply (also posts on here). Their ebay store has them for $12/set + $6 shipping.

I agree that they aren't the best looking, but for the price, I thought they were a great deal.
