sounds like you're having doubts about buying them, but i personally think those look really nice. yeah the coo might not be USA, but a slip now and then is permissable. i hope...

If there was a Menard's near me, I'd buy these. They look different and can't go wrong for that many pieces at that price, especially if a rebate is involved.......That bottle opener looks sweet as well.......

I think you can do better for $20 in screwdrivers. Husky Pro, Craftsman Pro, Wera, Wiha... sure you'll only get 5-7 screwdrivers for the money and no bottle opener, but the quality is there.

Well, if it wasn't for the comments 'bottle opener', yep, i bought the set. Not out of need, yes, I have the Klein opener. Because the blue/red handles look cool. Now, to find a place to put them, my wall board is full, my shop, garage, and truck chests are full. My service pouch and toolbox don't need any additions.
Mebbe I need another chest.

Honestly, at $14.99 this was a good deal I think. I have only used the 6-in-1 channellock driver (made in china) so far but the quality seems pretty good. I would be surprised if the drivers you bought turned out to be total ****. If nothing else they could be a great beater set. Sure, a quality German made set would probably be better but at $14.99 I think you did well. I wouldn't regret it unless they turned out to be total junk. In addition to having some premium quality screwdrivers, its also nice to have a set or two that you won't feel heartbroken about if you happen to loose them or they break etc. for certain applications.

Over 4th of July weekend I was in Menards looking at $15 for the red, white, and blue set identical to that one. SWMBO saw me looking and told me to read the back (she had recently been bday shopping for me). Yup, disappointment of the day - made in China.

Honestly... for $15 it is virtually impossible to find a quality US made screwdriver set with as many components as that set... it is OBVIOUSLY going to be made in china

If it is on sale at Menard's once, it will be on sale again. That said, I'm sure these are worth about what you would pay for them.

I bought this set last week as someone had mentioned in a previous channel lock post that they liked them, even with the China COO. I mainly bought them as they are magnetic and the Cman's I bought last month were not. I really like the ergonomics of these handles. They allow so much torque I keep expecting to break a tip off. Time will tell, but not yet!
