Hobart Handler 125 welder vs. HF Titanium 140. Which would you pick?

I recently ordered a Hobart Handler 125 for my first welder. It's back ordered and won't arrive for a month. Now I'm wondering if I should cancel and instead get the HF Titanium Mig 140.

My question: Would you stick with the Hobart or cancel the order and get the Titanium 140 instead?

What are you planning on welding?

Thicknesses and metals.

I bought a brand new Vulcan 220 omnipro on Craigslist for less than $500. I was skeptical about a hf welder, but mine has been awesome. If Vulcan has one in your price range, check it out.

I'm mainly looking to weld thin things and sheet metal.

You'll be fine with either welder then. I don't have personal experience with titanium welders, if you buy it, get the protection plan. Then you can take it back if it breaks within 3 years. I would spend the $50 extra and get the titanium 170 though.

Always buy bigger than you think. You may decide to weld some thicker stuff down the road.
