British car working, saltwater fishing, woodworking and turning, fly tying keep me busy during retirement. Oh, in my spare time I teach a course on Living on a Lighthouse.

Under the hood removed the pizza box cover, few mods. Some black paint to hide some things, looking clean and functional.

Tinkering on my Camaro.

Building guns. Winchester rifles and 1911s mostly.

Last few years we have been going hunting in Africa every year for a few weeks. Covid broke that streak! Hopefully back to that next year.

Equipment rebuilding and lapidary. I build my own lapidary machines by using parts from those that are never quite as good as they should be.

Anybody into mechanical wrist watches??

Is Hamilton USA a decent manufacturer??

Are they made in the USA??

Yea, I'm a Seiko diver guy. While they are mechanical, they are self winding. Mostly wear one of my 3 Turtles. Also have a couple of SKX's. A 009 and a 007 that I changed the face, index ring and hands on to make a yellow face A35.
My turtles are the PADI, Save the Ocean-Great White Shark and the Nemo.

Hamilton's are great watches. They are Swiss made. I keep thinking about getting a Field Khaki, but just not there yet.

I was much better at building than I was at flying. With 3 little one's in tow and a 4th that was on the way I figured it was time to give it up. Sold it all off and got into the Mustang GT project and firearms. Well, I got into the firearms before I gave it up, I just expanded the collection as the airplanes started selling off. :lol_hitti

I have been trying to buy an SKX007j recently, but they are fetching silly money in the UK (£500)

Ended up buying a Rotary Super 7 as an everyday watch
I wiil post up some pics when it shows up

Liking the Hamilton Field watches though

Current Hobbies: Photography (Nikon / Fuji), Cars (E46 M3), Mountain Bikes (too many to list), Computers, Golf, Watches, Flashlights (Surefire), Leather Working, A/V Gear (Mostly Home Theater), and Legos (Never to old for Legos). I try to focus on one thing at a time, but they all cross over a bit and get expensive. Tools bring most of them together as well.

:willy_nil Wow! My 009 is a J. I wonder what it would fetch across the pond?
When Seiko discontinued these last year, I should have stocked up on a few. Had a feeling prices were going to go up.

The 'J' models are definately sought after in the UK

Looks like you have a nice little collection going on there

These are the Rotary super 7s, maybe an alternative to the SKXs now the prices are climbing??

Nice stuff there! I need another sport watch to replace a cheap one that finally died. My dress watch is a 1936 Gruen tank watch. Runs like a new one.

I would love to see the Gruen tank watch if you have a pic??

If your looking for an affordable automatic beater watch do your research, you are spoilt for choice really nowadays some of them are amazing value for money

Tinkering and Tool collecting. I mostly tanker with older GM vehicles and Honda motorcycles from the 70s although I am expanding The Collection with a few Harley's here lately. Have a rototiller on fixing for a friend that was made in the late 60s early 70s.

I picked up boxing at the later age of 25 hopefully making my Pro debut before the end of the year this year at the age of 30.

And my late teens into early 20s I played music. Was able to play many shows and get offered to go out on tour was a really cool experience I had to turn down due to my first child being on the way.

And my main hobby lifestyle is being a father of four

My Hovbies are a list like some here, R/C Aviation,If It flies I'm Interested. I have a large collection of Industrial Antiques that Include Railroad,Firefighting,Aviation, and more. To many hobbies and not enough time. My tool addiction probably don't fit Hobby so much as obsession along with Old Industrial Lights. These have went way beyond hobby.[emoji16][emoji16]20200226_110623.jpeg20200503_122507.jpeg20200602_122021.jpg20200330_094843.jpeg20200821_164051.jpeg20200716_160141.jpg
