Okay, so they aren't originals and yes they are probably made in China, but Hobby Lobby has a 50% off sale (I think today is the last day) on all "Men's Metal & Wood Decor."

Until I can find some real nice antique signs to put in the shop, I picked up quite a few of these ranging from $7-15 each and one $30 Texaco sign. Here is a link to the sales flyer: http://www.hobbylobby.com/weekly/weekly.cfm

I think you will find they throw those quite frequently. In fact I have been visiting mine regularly and was suprised to go in during the holidays and find the 50% off metal signs was actually off! When I went back in a week or two ago it was back, busness as usual.

The thing I am waiting for is these two wooden model ChrisCraft boats. The pics dont do them justice. They are about 2.5ft long and are very detailed wooden boats. These would great in my gameroom.

At my HL, they show list as $599, marked down 50% to $299 but I'm still not buying. After searching online it seems these are mass produced over in Vietnam and you can buy these exact models (and others)all day long on eBay for $150-$200 shipped.

Wonder if they would do a price match?

Hobby Lobby often seems to have metal signs on sale. With that or the weekly 40% off coupon, you should never pay full price there. They get a lot of their signs from Desperate Enterprises, so if you want to cut out the middle man go here: http://www.desperate.com/shophome.cfm
I got a whole mess of signs from them.

I used to buy from www.RickWolf.com and they had some really cheap prices. It actually looked like that same website you mentioned. Maybe thats a merchant website template but looks damn near identical. However looks like Rick is closed for business now

Hmm, next time I am in Vietnam I will have to look around for those. Maybe get a good price on them. Not sure if 2.5 feet long will fit in my overnight bag though. :headscrat

I would be interested in several as the shipping kills you. The prices I posted include around ~$100 in shipping. Unless sellers are inflating shipping (and they may be) some of these sell for less than it costs to ship.

These things really are slick to look at. The intricate details and fine wood work just make them a great piece for any room.
