Good morning,

Do any of the fine vendors on this board who sell snap together tiles, also sell tiles that can be used for hockey? I looked at Snaplock and only saw ones used for basketball, tennis, and inline hockey.

What I'm looking for are those slick white tiles to be used for my nephew to improve his stick handling skills.

Thanks in advance!

If he doesn't need to be on skates, I bought project board/white board at Home Depot a few years back for my son. My basement is basically a hockey rink (16 sheets of whiteboard), regular pucks slide on it really well. I'm billeting a 16 year old AAA player and he uses it all of the time with a Passmaster.

Obviously, if skates are required, the tiles from HotShot, Polyglide, etc are a good option.

Regarding puck movement, I believe they offer a different puck for sport floors.

You might want to check some of the vented tiles. Depending on budget vs demands, some of our customers have had good results with something other than a sport tile

Thanks Justin,

I just bit the bullet and bought the HockeyShot brand tiles which are purpose made for pucks. This brand says you can use regular pucks which is great for him in the offseason. I purchased 15 of them which will give my nephew plenty of space/area to practice his stick handling. This was a first communion and birthday present gift for him. He's only 9 but is in LOVE with hockey...

I was also seeing if I could support some GJ vendors in the process!

Thanks!
