I was linked to this site from one of my Landcruiser forums. This is great.
I am building a 22' x 36' detached garage. It will have a 16' x 8' door on the front and a 36" walk in on the side. 10' ceiling. I am using attic trusses, so I will end up with a 11'x7'x36' storage when completed. 10/12 pitch roof.
I am limited in the width and total square footage of the build. We live in a historical district and my house was built in 1912. The garage must look like it belongs with the neighborhood, so we are trying to maintain the "carriage house" appearance. Wish me luck.
My toys are a '79 Toyota Landcruiser on 38" tall tires and a '61 Ford Falcon gasser drag car with a 406FE.
I hope to glean as much info off of this site to help with my build as I have from the Landcruiser forum I use (IH8MUD.com).
Thanks, Hodag
