Hoffman 2 post hoist

i just picked up a Hoffman 2 post and I'm trying to find there site i have no luck anyone know what there website is and the hoist is 3 phase 220V is there a way to rewire it to single phase

You won't be able to rewire to single phase. You will need to replace either the motor or the pump assembly. The other option is a phase converter, but it will likely be cheaper to buy a new motor.

Phase converters have come down alot but it would problaly be better to replace the motor.

Just buy a variable frequency drive off ePay and hook it up. The prices are very reasonable.

I've found you should oversize the drive when you are running single phase in and three phase out configuration. For example, if you've got a 3 hp 3 phase motor, you should choose a 5 hp drive.
