Took 4 months, most of that time waiting for the hoist to ship, a week waiting for concrete to cure and the neighbor to return from vacation (so we could use his front end loader to place the hoist), but it's finally done. Bendpak SP-7x, mounted flush in the floor.
By the way, if I had to grade the packing and shipping quality from Bendpak, they'd get an 'F'. Entire unit (2700#) was set atop a frame welded from 4 pcs of rectangular tubing, roughly 2" x 3". Note that it wasn't FASTENED to the frame, just setting on it. Shipping terminal wasn't even able to lift it, even with extended forks. To their credit, after much head scratching, they were able to load it on my trailer, but Bendpak could have done a lot to alleviate that with better packing/crating.
