I am about to have a shed put up at our new house and I am after some feedback as to the best placement for a car hoist/s in the future. As I don't have the funds atm for the hoist/s I am just trying to plan ahead and have the concrete laid thicker for them in the future.

The garage is 9 metres wide with double roller door on the front, 12 meters deep and 3.6 meters at the eves.

I am thinking possible to put them as soon as I drive in the doors so I can leave the rear of the shed free for a loft/mezzanine or possible extension down the track but would like people's thoughts on it.

Thanks

Yes, put them toward the front. 30' wide will work with two 10' doors. Leave 4' from edge of door to inside of building. That will give you room to walk/work around the hoist.
Use roll up doors or have the tracks for overheads routed to follow the ceiling. Keeps the doors out of the front of the cars when they are up on the lift.
