Hold In Garage/Outside

Just noticed a hole that’s started to form on the outside of the house and also is inside the garage. Not sure what caused it or how serious it could be.

Just trying to get some general advice if it’s something I can patch myself or not.

Hard to tell from the pictures what you are dealing with, post some pictures showing a wider view of the area. My first thought would be to fill it with modified type concrete.

Throw some steel in your concrete filler.

This is not a DIY throw spaghetti at it and see what sticks project. This is a get a foundation specialist in and get an estimate. Best case it is something easy and you know what to do after the estimate. Worst case its complicated and you are far better off paying a professional
