Hole saw set at sears?

Are any of them any good? I have some points I need to use as I just bought a bottom chest (their price was as good as Craigslist, really!) and I also need a set of hole saws for a project I have. Would love to use my points on something I need rather than yet another pair of Knipex pliers or something. I just don't know what's good and what's not. Probably will only be using them on wood, aluminum, and Lexan.

You had better make up your mind quick. With Sears stock at 63 cents and falling the will go under any day now. This is not just my opinion. The financial publications are all saying Sears goes bankrupt very soon. It is not if but when. They are toast.

I got a set of Lenox bi-metal hole saws because I don't need them often and a bi-metal set offers more sizes for less $ than carbide. I got a set of augers for smaller size holes, and I'll pop for specific carbide hole saws or self-feed bits when I need them more often.

If whatever brand you get wobbles, try the 7/16 Milwaukee "No Wobble" arbor with the nut underneath (don't get the one for about a buck less without the nut). You'll be impressed.

I know, I just needed a bottom chest quick and the one that matched the upper I already had was about the same price as anything decent on Craigslist plus I got bonus points. Which are kind of useless, but still.

Good to know. Looks like Sears has a few Lenox kits, any other opinions?

Any opinion on Blu-Mol sets? It looks like Sears actually has those in stock as opposed to having to order them and they're cheaper as well. Or is paying for Lenox worth it?
