Picked up this Hollands offset jaw bench vise. Operates smooth, only obvious damage is the chunk out of the stationary base. Anyone able to help assist in identifying it? I haven't been able to find any hollands that have the marking on the dynamic jaw like this one. Seems pretty unique. 4/12" jaws. opens to about 8". weighs 66 lbs. Haven't been able to locate markings other then the hollands marking on the side of the dynamic jaw

HOLLANDS MFG CO ERIE PA

Curious as to the year, vise number, any info would be interesting. Thanks

Thanks Crete and baygarage, what’s got me is the holland marking on this one is on the Dynamic jaw also the screw post is bulb like, instead of the typical hollands.

To clarify on the screw spindle, it doesn't have the new cylindrical "screw spindle" But rather the original "Meatball" Screw single. Does this alone put it pre 1910

I found this photo, it was posted elsewhere and captioned that it shows the original (1887?) Holland mfg Vises. I think the one I found matches the bottom right vise, guessing this is the early 94 1/2 or similar. Some markings on these original vises appear to be on the dynamic jaws which is a match. Meatball spindle appears to be a match. Let me know if this is on the right track or mistaken. Thanks
