"Hollow core" Garage Door

I've only ever seen steel garage doors in the past, so this one's a bit of a mystery.

To my surprise, my garage has, at some point in the 90's had some kind of hollow-core garage door panels installed. They are basically wood framed with a hex core of cardboard on the interior, along with wood veneers front and back. Like an interior hollow core door:

The top three panels of my garage door are fine, but the lowest panel has had some kind of damage to the exterior veneer. I have a plan to patch the door, but I'm also looking for a replacement panel. The only problem is, I have no idea what these doors were actually called, or who manufactured them.

Googling / searching for "hollow core garage door" or "hex core garage door" or "hollow garage door" or anything like that results in zero results.

I can't be the only one who has one of these....

The construction type used in that panel is a torsion box. Not sure if that will help or not. Could also search for lightweight garage door panel…

We used to be able to get those, but the garage door manufacturer that we deal with at work stopped manufacturing replacement panels for those doors several years ago.

Not knowing your location doesn't help in finding you a possible local source.

Sorry
