Hollow shaft 7mm nut driver ??

If any of you guys have a set of hollow shaft metric nut drivers would you mind measuring how deep the shaft is actually hollow ? I need to be able to go over a 3" long part to get to the 7mm hex part. I am going to start sending out some inquiries tomorrow but figure it would be nice if someone had one to verify. This is going to be for a custom made industrial application.

The Milwaukee 48222534 7mm is hollow all the way through, a stud can pass right through the end of the handle.

Proto Duratek 7mm is 3" deep on the dot. Should hold true for the MAC version as well.

3" is not quite enough. The Milwaukee one is perfect.

My early, amber handle, Snap-on is 4.580 deep.
My late model, Snap-on is 4.625 deep.

Gearwrench makes a pass through socket set, just in case you don't find a nutdriver deep enough.

They are certainly good. I would get a set of hollow through nut drivers from Klein, or Milwaukee, and a set of pass through sockets. Each has their uses

I think it is strange for someone to be asking imperial measurements about metric tools. That's how screwed up we are compared to the rest of the world. Not an advocate of metric myself but one system would be so much easier than having two mixed. But America will never go metric as long as 36,24,36 translates to 95,65,95. No way average American male would consider that attractive.
