I bought two of those, brand new, about a year ago, at a gun show, $5 each, still had the barcode stickers on them. Sears has recently dropped them from the internet, I guess they are gone for good.

That auction smells fishier than the pollack I had for dinner tonight.

Hot damn!

I have one in every drive size, fixed and flex versions, not to mention some doubles and spare gut kits. Guess it's finally time to walk into the office tomorrow and tell the boss to stuff it. :lol_hitti

You wonder if someone accidentally put a zero on the end of their bid, but then you realize that there had to be at least two idiots bidding that high...

I like to look at the bid history on this kinda stuff.
I click "show auto bids" then really see what's up.
SNIPERS abound!!!

that winner should be taken out and kicked square in the man jewels repeatedly
:shocking:

Don't forget the guy who was bidding against him.

Then again, I just over-paid for a Snap-on body hammer on ebay, but it's got a pick end that I've needed several times in the past and KNOW I need for one particular dent on my Duster, while the face is a high-crown, good for inside radii. Point being, I paid more than the hammer should be worth, but it's exactly what I want and need, so I'm happy with it.

on this topic, here's something that puzzled me:
bought 3 wright tool sets from a liquidation sale for $15 apiece (10-19mm sockets, some extensions-- missing the ratchet). I think it was a 22 or 23pc set. The original retail, including the ratchet, was $100-- just a year ago! Well, the business only closed a year ago; unless his prices were from the '80s or something!
Wright tool sets on ebay are fetching, well OK, asking, more like $200 now; did their prices double in just a year, or are wright tools no longer being made, or...?

I just refurbished one of those (I work in the Sears stock room) literally an hour ago.

Me thinks you should get a "side" job repairing all of the forum's C-man rats!:lol_hitti

Seriously, if we needed a rebuild kit, can you get us the parts?

Well I would give that for an RHFT before I would buy one of the dual 80 technology ratchets for $67 off the truck.

Those are probably one of the best 1/4" ratchets ever made.
