No pic's but where I work there's several different jigs, some I'm not sure what they are for though.

One is a V-block and and edge for bending steel in to angles. I'll look saturday and post back.

This is all I've got. Swag off-road press break and a few little jigs.

Mine. The lower die can be interchanged with a piece of angle or a piece of tube.

I have all manner of tooling for pressing suspension bushings in and out. Makes the job easy, fast and safe.

Not sure of what kind of work you will be doing but I run a machine shop and we press alot of front wheel drive bearings and bushings etc.. I find the best pieces for that are old bearing shells, both inner and outer races. We save what we take out and keep an assortment of sizes handy. Those and a bearing seperator or clam shell does 99% of what I do. They are basically free and do the job perfectly. Just sure to wear your safety glasses, since they are so hard they are also brittle. I have a 50 ton Dake press and over the last 18 years I have broken 3 races. The broken parts can be sharp when they go flying. Old wristpins and beat up sockets also work well.

I have a couple of shafts from electric motors, I think. They are about 3/8" x 5" and 5/8" x 6". I use them when I need to press something small in diameter.

I also save bearings, races, shafts, etc. Swag is a great place to buy stuff if you don't want to DIY.

BE SAFE A press is a very under rated danger. I worked in a shop where a piece flew out of the press and hit another worker in the head...Hearing stories of brittle (hardened) races shatter in the press scares me.

Very interested in this. Most of mine consist of scraps of angle iron and 1/2 plate I grinded into a 45.

Hey cool-guy, I noticed your press is mounted on wheels. How do you like that? I could use some wheels on mine for storage but am concerned about stability during use.

My press has a 1" bore, so I have made a few inserts for it with 1"bolts and a nut. One of them is a pin punch holder and another is a bushing driver shaft to hold all of my bushing driver discs.

That brake deal is pretty cool. I'll have to try that. Since my press has in the past been mainly used for "gunsmithing", my homemade jig is a stack of pennies super glued together.

i have some scrap pieces of rigid pipe--range from 2 inch to 5 inch. i will use the scrap pipe as spacers as well as holding jigs for when i press in/out wheel bearings on a spindle. also use old sockets, actual press plates, and believe it or not vw 5 speed "vibration" blocks.

On 93-99 vw golf jetta 5 speeds, they put a thick heavy block on the rear cross member for what i suppose was a vibration dampener. these are awesome for stacking to raise a piece or to use as a press plate. here is a pic of where it is located at on the cross member. it is the block w. 2 bolts going through it

If that brace you're referring to is anything like the old Dodge L bodies, that was for a bobble strut. You could use it to add preload, so the engines don't rock back so far under load.

Hey coolguy that is a nice looking press, Did you use the press to make the louvres for the press on the laterals? (Use the tool to make the tool) would love to see the tooling set up for that.

The anvil on my 12T HF press was welded on crooked and the crossmember it was welded to was a piece of brake formed sheet metal that seemed kinda wimpy. I remade that part with some 1/4" wall channel and also made it so I can change the anvils. I also got tired of pumping the jack and changed it out for a pneumatic/hydraulic one. I also have mine on wheels and have never felt like there was an issue with tipping.
