Homak tool boxes

Has anyone ever tried one of the homak tool boxes from northern tool? I didn't do a search so it might have already been discussed. The price is comparable to the hf box.

FIL has a 3pc 26" Homak stack. Every drawer is full, and it's held up well. He's had it longer than I know my wife, which is nearing a decade now. Surprisingly solid, to me it feels better than Craftsman/HF, but nowhere near truck brand. Not very deep.

They nothing special but at a good sale price and if size and drawer layout works for you could do for home box. HF slightly better and nice for lowest coupon deals .

Never about about full length drawers on the bottom. That gives me something else to look into to see if it's a big deal in my position.

There are threads every so often on homak. A few guys on here say the new stuff is junk.

The older stuff I've personally seen was pretty decent, I haven't seen any new stuff in person.
