wanting to build a air compressor to paint my truck i have a gas motor and i was going to buy a pump from hf as for the tank i found a 60 gallon can i piggyback another tank off of that one to give me more air just want to here some ideals from you all

I would go with the bigger of the pumps, you don't want to run out of air when painting. Also if you are going to run a gas motor make sure it is away from the area you are painting in. You will want to make sure you put a pop off valve some where in the system so you dont build a rocket.
I dont understand the unlevel surface???

OOo I thought you said you wanted to build a compressor for your truck. An HF pump will be fine then if you're running level.
