Need a new disposal for the sink and went to Cardpool to see what Lowes and HD cards were selling at. Initally said 8.5% but when I went to buy was 10% off HD. Highest discount I've seen for HD on that site. Everylittle bit helps right? When i use these they still let you collect on
Ebates/Fatwallet. Plus your rewards card when u buy the card on Cardpool.

That's really interesting because I've been using HD gift cards purchased through Giant Eagle (supermarket chain) for online purchases from HD through Fatwallet and I always get my cash back discounts. It takes a few months for the $$ to become available, but it always works. Can't hurt to make your HD purchase by clicking through Fatwallet.

I can attest that it work for me thru Home depot and Sears in the past.. Now, I would doubt that they would allow you to purchase a Gift Card at HD(collect 3%) and then let you have 3% again when you spend it. Is that what you mean?

I think that it means you don't get cash back when purchasing gift cards, not when using gift cards.

Mr Rebates usually has a higher cash back percentage than fatwallet. Currently it is at 4%.

I've been purchasing gift cards through ebates for a few months. Use my discover so I get %1 on all purchases through them. Then I take the cards to the store and get my %10 off... Cash back for Lowes through ebates was %6 a few weeks ago. Got a $100 card for about $83 final cost..

Tried Cardpool for the first time today. I went for an 'e-giftcard', thinking it'd be quicker and I'd be able to buy it and use it within 10 minutes, therefore minimizing my risk.

I added the item I wanted to the cart and confirmed how much it'd be after tax, then ordered an appropriate card.

Got stuffed around with cardpool verification, and it took about 6 hours and a phone call (from them to me, as you can't call them), but the item has just been ordered now.

I'll use them again, but only when I can order the card for something I'm just about to buy.

Savings was 9% today, so that's my tax back on the purchase, and it was free shipping.

I was thinking I'd use cards for the $12k of kitchen cabinets, $4k counter tops and possibly another $6k of appliances, but that'd require a ton of cards, and they'll only 'cover' up to $1000 per customer for something being wrong with the cards. Too much risk. I might buy $1000, then go pay for my dishwasher, then buy another $1000 and buy the range ...

It only takes that long the first time. Each time after, I have gotten my ecards within 5 minutes.

Cardpool typically takes 10-15 minutes for me. Giftcardzen.com is usually very fast--maybe 2-3 minutes, but they don't have nearly as many cards available.

Giftcardgranny.com (no, seriously--that's the name) is pretty useful as an aggregator of various giftcard websites.

That's usually the first place I check. It's nice cause you can weed out the garbage ones like eBay.
