I know I am not the first to post this. This morning when I was at Home Depot, they had some employees re-doing the hand tools section, specifically the ratchets, wrenches, and sockets. It's nice to see them bring back their tool selection. The price point does serve a market and some of their stuff isn't all that bad.

Grabbed this 27mm wrench!

good to see that, ive never had a problem with anything Husky ive owned, albeit most of their stuff i have is US made that i picked up from Home depot yrs ago. i dont think ive even glanced at any of HD's wrenches etc in a few yrs, but i have been looking for some larger metric wrenches without spending a fortune since they wont get used that much.
is there a COO on these?

$8.99 for a 27mm?! Seems like a pretty good deal. I was at HD on Saturday and their tool selection at my store was severely lacking. They didn't even have wrenches as separates, only sets. I was looking for a deal like this.

Their new tool display is only an 8ft section, not as big as Lowes. I am amazed that Lowes gives so much floor space to their Kobalt tools. Where ever they come from, it"s nice to see a big box store devote $$ and effort to tools.

I looked at the HD open stock wrenches yesterday. They feel cheap. Also, I didn't like the way you can see a pronounced bend for the 15 degree offset. Not a smooth continuous bend you see from a quality manufacturing process. More of a sharp bend that looks like a teenager in shop class got a no offset wrench and heated it with a torch and bent it on on a vise. I also picked up a 23mm wrench, and could bend it between my two hands. Cheap tin foil tools.

Home Depot now they have, next month maybe its gone again.

Lack of single wrenches is I think a marketing choice to force people to buy sets, which they do as long as the set price is low enough.

Hey thanks! Picked up 21,22 and 25 today. Also they had vise grips 2 fort 10 package. $28 , I'm happy. Don't care about China made or not. Works for me!
