Nothing really exciting most of that stuff goes on sale for those prices multiple times a year. For example the milwaukee 12amp corded sawzall shows $99 in the ad but I see it at that price all the time in stores.

I know one of the guys here was looking for a platform. I might grab another one for $17.88.

yeah im not seeing anything brilliant. dremel stuff is warm, the 9 drawer big tool box seems a fair price for a home box. all the cordless stuff can be had elsewhere for a similar deal and throughout the year.

Pretty meh, if you ask me. I'll probably pick up some Ryobi batteries, but that's probably it. I'm trying to decide between the 2 large ones vs. the 4 smaller ones both at $99.

I would get the bigger ones if I were you.

For Ryobi cordless one + owners, they have a 4 pack of the 1/2 size lithium for $99 this year. That is a great deal. While the full size last the longest, it is nice to have some 1/2 size also for the lighter weight. These are the normal lithium though, not lithium + ones. Another deal is the 4 pack of Bessey clamps for like $20. Not bad. Also, Defiant led lights are really good quality. 5 pack of Milwaukee the axe demolition 9" sawzall blades for $10 is a good deal. The Bosch spade bit set is too but I don't like those that much with the screw to pull them through. The end of the hole ends up out of control a bit with them and you need a good torque driver to drive them well. Still a deal. Those little black plastic $1.88 tool caddies are very handy also next to the Bessey clamps. - Paul

Pretty disappointing was hoping the 52 inch box would be on sale. Most of the stuff has already been at that price

Anyone have the 22' Werner ladder that they can give an opinion on?

Yeah, I got that one last year. It is top notch. It is heavy to move though, but you get that in the multi function ladders. Very stiff, strong, and safe to use. Note a 22' ladder can't really get to 22'. It is fuzzy marketing. They are all this way though. - Paul

I grabbed 3 for friends last year. The year before I bought 6 of the werner ones from Lowes for myself. IMO the werners were much nicer than these. Still worth it if you have a need for them.

I'll be passing on Lowes and HD this year.

I copy what the other guy said about it...

If you have a lowes close...buy it from there...make them price match the $125 and take another 10% off b/c you found it cheaper at home depot...

thats what I did last year on that same item...

Yeah, I think they factor in your reach when they come up with the length for the ladder. I might pick one of these up based on your recommendation. Thanks Paul.

This year those yellow Werner ladders are 17.49 and are only 4 feet. Last year they were 15.00 and 5 feet.

Overall not that impressive in the deals.

They usually add the entire length of all the parts to get the size. You lose length when the sections are overlapped.

All fire departments ladders will reach the labeled height. The bed and fly sections on an extension ladder for example are counted as one length where
They are joined.

Yeah, although the head mounted one is like $10, that is not bad as this is a real nice head mounted light. I view defiant as the Milwaukee of led lights! - Paul

I have a few of the head mounted led defiant lights from past black Fridays. They are also great! Nice and bright

Their $25 off $100 tools, online only, seems like a good deal.
They do sell some nice U.S. made stuff.

This is active right now.

Very bottom of the page.
Its only on "select" tools, just about all the Bosch branded items HD carries with some Dremel and Dewalt. Just add items to your cart until you hit $100 and it will automatically take off the $25.

What do you guys think of this set with this price? It's the Dewalt 20V Max Combo with tough case. I was just walking around home depot earlier and saw it on the side. I'd like to start on my own set of cordless power tools.

Meh at best. Unless I absolutely needed them, I wouldn't buy another cordless tool that wan't brush-less. I have the brush-less DeWalt drill and driver set and I feel stupid for not buying them sooner. Remember always wondering how long you have on your batteries? With the brush-less you are always surprised when they finally run out.

As far as the ad goes, it's disappointing at best. I was just there tonight and most all of that stuff is already available. The 12" DeWalt slider can be bought at Lowes with the 200$ stand for free at $599.

It might not be the same price as last year, but if you guys are still interested, see if they would take the $75 off of $500 coupon from Northern Tool.

Yea I was thinking about that. I'm gonna just modify my 40 unit and male a larger lid steel top so I can store my cordless tools and chargers upright. That's the main reason I like it, and the fact it's 52 to inches as apposed to my Husky 40 inch unit.

i just bought some of those 5 drawer tops. could have saved some money.

that 15" plastci caddy looks pretty good for a 1.88...hard to beat that.

dont buy the 46" workstation for 239.....its a joke. the upper and lower 40 and 52" combos are comepletely different boxes. heavier metal. i got the workstation at a deal last year and sold it immediately. i got it at a hot buy at 199, so all i lost was the tax. should have taken it back.
