Thanks - I had not seen these before - good price. They have a total height of 4.25" so I have to revise my plans a bit.

Glad it helped someone. I just welded them to the feet of my compressor and worked great. I don't plan on moving it much but needed to squeeze it into this space. Also I can move it in and out if needed for repairs.

This looks like an everyday price but are some really nice casters for around 5.00 each. They have a 300lb load capacity each. I bought a set for my 60 gallon horizontal compressor and seem real sturdy. Just though I would pass it on.

Menards has the same caster. I just got some to use on a 8' wide, 3' deep, 4 shelf storage rack that I built for my daughter. The rack needed to be movable because it sits over a drain clean-out in the floor. The iron casters won't deform when sitting under load for years. The rack rolls nicely even when loaded with her junk, I mean priceless possessions.
I like them.

I need to do the same for my 80 gallon horizontal compressor. It won't get moved often, but it is a pain to move 700 pounds or so when it is just on 2x6 boards.
