There might be a way to make a (Google) form to fill in the fields automatically. I'm not 100% sure on how that would work, though.

Anyone thing it would help to go back to the master spread sheet as this thing grows?
Until you can sort/filter on the app, I personally like the individual category sheets, and I don't mind managing them.
On a side note, I have added links up through and including the plumbing tab. Taking a break for now...

All please remember to post out on the spreadsheet. There are 113 people only 15 or so people post on a regular basis. Admins will soon be removing people who just lurk and dont contribute.

Were having issues with the spreadsheet right now. I would advise just posting in the form
Who is in charge of the ******* spread sheet? Because I asked who I though was in charge if I could share it to a small group of like-minded members and was given an ok...and now I get a PM with accusations of essentially stealing the spreadsheet and lying about it, which I don't appreciate. I have been nothing but respectful, grateful AND made it clear to the members I shared it will to do the same AND requested that they add items instead of being leaches....yet here I am getting messages that I'm doing this or that without any permission. **** me for trying to help grow the spreadsheet, **** me for being respectful. Jesus ******* christ.

mswol767 is the original creator and 06GMC has had a huge part in getting it going.

I have tried to make this clear in everything I write, but mswol67 is the "owner" of the spreadsheet as he created it.
While he was doing all the background work setting it up and doing the store lookups etc., I was posting about it and promoting it, therefore, I can understand the confusion in assuming that I was the owner.
I can't speak for Matt (I am sure he has as well), but I know I have spent countless hours answering requests, formatting, fixing errors, looking up links for items etc. that I would hate see it all go to waste.
I apologize for any issues this has caused, and I sincerely hope we can proceed forward with continued usage of the sheet.

From your description above it sounds like you went to another forum and posted what people worked hard on here. Also, how is that sharing with a "small group" of people?
In his defense, I am the one who gave him permission to share it. At that time it seemed like a good idea, and the more contributors we could get the better, however, things have gotten out of hand. mswol has gotten hundreds of requests today alone...
I found his thread on the other forum, and at no point did he say the spreadsheet was his, and he did make it very clear that it was other people's work from here on GJ. He also stressed to contribute and not just leach.
What's happening right now is very unfortunate. It is impossible to post something on the internet that you want to keep remotely private at all. I think we have a good core group of contributors, and if mswol can be persuaded, I recommend we just continue forward with the members we have now.
Or we just let the sheet fade away and go back to sorting through the clearance thread for SKUs etc. and those who have access can add their finds to the sheet if they wish.

You'd be pissed too if you have gone out of your way to help several people(including the person that is accusing me), gone through the correct channels to do so and make it perfectly clear what the intentions are...just to be called a liar and insinuate that I did something wrong in a harsh PM out of the blue. No one thought asking me about it was a good idea, just straight attack...for no other eyes to see. I put this in the open because I have NOTHING to hide.
How is that sharing with a small group of people? It's a small forum, with minimal traffic. GJ has a quarter of a million members and this section is visible for non-forum members. If you search for Home depot deals this forum is one of the top google search results, the forum I shared it on isn't even close. The Home Depot thread on that forum is 2 pages long. Total member count for the forum, less than 3% of the size of GJ.
I have been respectful of all parties involved. After being given permission I shared the spreadsheet with ONE forum that had a member base that I trust, that have proven their consideration and generosity as a whole. I have not mentioned the forum name on here out of respect to admins and moderators of GJ. I have not mentioned this forum out of respect to the admins on that forum. I have made it CLEAR that I am NOT to owner of the spreadsheet and have reminded the members of that community to respect and contribute to the spreadsheet as they are guests on another's spreadsheet. Yet despite all of this, here I am being attacked.
Thank you Jacob for defending me and sharing your side of the story. I appreciate it, you have been nothing but a class act in both PMs and in the various threads we've been a part of. I'm sorry that you're involved in this stupid "issue" at all.

Not sure why anyone would even want to share it with a broader group, but it appears the result of this issue is to restrict access to the new spreadsheet. I got the link, but don't have permission to access.
It's unfortunate, I had just gotten access recently and had some deals to post.
Sad that there always seems to be someone that messes it up for everyone

I'm a business owner, who happens to like helping my fellow tool addicts, find great deals.
But, it looks like this is a boys club. I'm fine with that.

I've been advised the spreadsheet has been discontinued and is no longer available. Your request probably was around the time that the spreadsheet was terminated, and that's probably why you did not receive a response.

I have my own spreadsheet to track a bunch of stuff at all of the Lowes around here (within an hour). As far as HD is concerned, if you know how to use the Price Check app, you should be able to find the deals yourself. That's what I do. I can see where the SKU numbers in the spreadsheet might be helpful, but I just take tons of pics of the Price Check app with my phone, so I have them anyway
Whoever was doing it quit. It is gone. It didn't have anything that the thread didn't have anyhow so I never looked at it.
