And the manager actually told me he's sorry but he has to refund my 2¢. I politely told him no thank you. And he got all frustrated, mumbled a bunch, and I asked if I was able to leave and he said he wouldn't stop me.

This is what they use to deny me in store, giving me a phone number (customer care) to call and discuss the issue. When they hand you this receipt, they try to claim that their hands are tied and that TRE/Customer Care are the only ones who can help.

The scary part is, they actually have alot more ways of identifying you than you would think. Using my phone number and name, they were able to identify $35k in purchases, most of which have been on my credit card or online purchased gift cards.

If they say the ban is indefinite, I can always use the ID # on my CHL instead of my DL :)

Customer Care, along with their internal TRE team have been me clearance for 14 days to make returns. They have said they won't be removing my ban due such large amounts of returns (all done with receipts or they were able to look up using my credit card). Needless to say, they watch more than you think, even if you are doing nothing illegal and play by their rules. I've already waited out my 90 day ban, so I have a another call scheduled with them today to discuss when/if the ban will be removed.
I would just move on from HD if they banned me.

Picked up one of the blackout Husky tool chests for 45.03. Sku 1000026200

Also found these Orbit spray nozzle 3 packs for a penny. Got 10...there was more and another store has 21. What would I do with 31x3=93 nozzles? They feel cheap but work great, especially for the price!

Hitting the road tomorrow for a trip and mapped out a route with 9 HDs to hit up along the way :rocker:

My local store still has the multimeter for 97.06 or whatever code they use. Waiting for it to go to 33.03 so I can grab another for a buddy.

It's odd the sticker on the peg makes it look like the meter started out at $150 or what not. But HD website says $78. And most online vendors look as if they're around $80 also. So maybe $33 is a pretty good deal but still 'only" around 60% off retail.

I'm kind of bummed out. Went on a road trip hunting today and the stores near me must have done resets or something because everything was straight and organized. Found and HDMI cable for a penny but otherwise a dry run. I don't know what has happened to this area. I think the managers must have got on the ball. I'm going to try to see if I can get over to some of the Raleigh stores to see if they are the same way. I'm hoping for better luck there.

It did start out at 150. 4 years ago. I was debating this meter and the Klein MM2000 back then. I bought the Klein because it actually has more features for less. But at $33 it makes a great service van meter.

That is what the website shows online pricing.

Got one of the blackout bottom cabinets for $45.03 from the Marlboro, MA store last night. Asked someone to look up the SKU for me since they have no accessible computers, and it showed one, which the employee assured me would almost definitely be gone. I found it on the top shelf about 5 minutes later. They had a bunch of the top chests left at that location- at least 4.

There were 4 of them in Topsham Maine. Had an employee grab me 2, he scanned it, said he can't sell it but he'll call over the manager to see if he can give me a deal. Manager was really cool, said "if it's a penny, he gets it for a penny". I didn't want to piss him off by asking for the other 2 sprayers. SCO never said a word about them being a penny

Good deal! I'm sure the other two were off the shelf before you even left the store haha. What stores are you hitting today?

I'm hoping I can find a top to match my bottom today.

Stopped at a store yesterday and didn't have much time to look anything up but I did notice the 41" toolbox that clearanced a while ago, sku 1000-044-440 in the overhead with a written on the box note that said " Do Not Sell". Also found three different boxes of hand tool kits from the fathers day promotion still packaged up. I am going to have to stop by there this weekend and see what I can find.

All this for $115. No penny deals but not bad. The Empire 48" had a bad screen.
Husky digital level -15.03
Empire 48" digital level - 40.03
clamp meter - 30.03
Empire digital caliper - 8.83 (not impressed with these Harbor freight pittsburghs are much better for same price/cheaper)
14/3 Husky 40' extension cord - 5.02

Just called and had my local store hold 2 of the multi meters until I get off work... when she asked my name, she said "Oh I remember you"... this should be interesting. The good part is, she didn't seem angry about knowing who I was!
